Chase Claypool has enraged Steelers supporters with a series of poor decisions.

Many Steelers supporters appear to have had enough of Chase Claypool.

The second-year wideout sparked a social media firestorm after a series of blunder plays cost his team a 36-28 loss against Minnesota on Thursday night.

Claypool shoved Vikings linebacker Bashaud Breeland at the end of a play on the Steelers' first drive, setting the tone for the rest of the night.

Soon after, the Steelers' drive was nearly cut short by an unnecessary roughness flag, but Ben Roethlisberger prolonged it with a clutch run on fourth-and-four. It was his seventh penalty of the season, which is the most by a wideout in the league.

In the end, there's no damage done. But it didn't stop Claypool from facing backlash on social media from fans and even Post-Gazette insider Ray Fittipaldo.

Later, while being tackled, Claypool placed the ball on the ground and was spared from losing a fumble by a favorable replay review. Then, as Fittipaldo pointed out, he missed a block early on.

Unsurprisingly, respondents to a Post-Gazette snap poll agreed that Claypool should take a break.

However, despite falling down by as many as 29 points, the receiver stayed in the game and subsequently made several amazing receptions to help the Steelers rally to within eight points on their last drive. He has eight receptions for 93 yards on the night.

Unfortunately for him, it was his behavior following his most recent capture that sparked yet another outburst of rage.

Instead of handing the ball to the official to putting the offense in position to spike the ball to stop the clock, Claypool celebrated after a fourth-and-1 catch with 42 seconds left in regulation.

As a tight end, the decision lost valuable seconds on a drive that eventually fell short. As time expired, Pat Freiermuth dropped a pass in the end zone, sparking outrage.

Claypool has made waves in recent weeks for advocating that the Steelers amend their long-standing policy of prohibiting music from being played during practice and in the locker room.

He's also made headlines in the past for slamming the Steelers' archrival Cleveland Browns and dancing in a few TikTok videos.
