Passengers on a Delta Airlines aircraft were horrified and scared when a lady apparently began breastfeeding her hairless cat in the middle of the journey. The woman refused to stop and return her cat to its cage, despite repeated instructions from the flight attendant. The event occurred on a flight from Syracuse, New York, to Atlanta, Georgia, according to Newsweek.
While the plane was in the air, a flight attendant used the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to notify the ground crew that the individual in seat "13A is breastfeeding a cat and will not put the cat back in its container when [flight attendant] requests."

"This woman had one of those, like, hairless cats swaddled up in a blanket so it looked like a baby," flight attendant Ainsley Elizabeth stated in a TikTok video. Her blouse was up, and she was attempting to clasp the cat, but she refused to return the animal to the container. "And the cat was waiting for help." "Just to inform her that she couldn't do it again since it was bizarre and nasty," she stated when security met the flight.
Security was involved, Elizabeth stated in another video. But she had no idea what happened to the woman and her cat once the plane landed in Atlanta.
Delta, for example, permits customers to bring small dogs and cats inside the cabin as "emotional support animals," but they must remain in a container under the seat in front for the duration of the trip.
Delta Airlines has yet to issue a statement about the event.
