Officials announced that Powerball tickets sold in Wisconsin and California were the winners of the current price, which will be shared as $632 million.
The Wisconsin Lottery did not immediately reveal where the winning ticket was purchased in the state. According to the California Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Sacramento.
The winning numbers for Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot were 6, 14, 25, 33, and 46. The Powerball number was seventeen.
The victors can choose to share $450 million in cash. The jackpot was one of the greatest in Powerball history, although it didn't make the list of the top ten largest in US lottery history.
There were also 14 additional tickets in the drawing that won several million dollars.
Powerball is a lottery game that is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the United States Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
