V, a member of BTS, recently traveled to Paris in what appears to be an effort to launch his own projects after the K-pop boyband revealed plans for a hiatus.
V, also known as Kim Tae-Hyung, is visiting France at the request of fashion designer Hedi Slimane for the Celine collection, according to industry insiders on Monday.
Along with Lisa from the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK and Korean actor Park Bo-gum, V attended the fashion presentation at the Palais de Tokyo.
On social media, he posted pictures of his activities in Paris.
Since BTS decided two weeks ago to put group activities on hold and concentrate on personal projects, this is V's first solo public appearance.
Rapper J-Hope will make his solo debut next month, while BTS dancer Jungkook released a song in collaboration with American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth last week.
