According to records from the Los Angeles Police Department, Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was detained on felony charges on Wednesday. The LAPD didn't provide any other details. The 24-year-old was subsequently freed after posting a $130,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court in Los Angeles on July 20.
Bridges have played four seasons for the Hornets after being selected in the first round out of Michigan State in 2018. Last season, he contributed to Charlotte reaching the playoffs play-in game with an average of 20.2 points and seven rebounds per game.
Bridges received a qualifying offer from the Hornets on Tuesday, which turned him become a restricted free agency.
