In addition to four championship fights with a title of some kind on the line in each contest, WWE Money in the Bank 2022 announced the men's and women's Money in the Bank Ladder matches.
WWE's top championship would not be at stake since Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal champion, missed the pay-per-view for the second week in a row due to his new part-time schedule. Since WrestleMania 38, Reigns has not successfully defended either of his world titles on pay-per-view.
Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, was initially supposed to be the source of Money in the Bank 2022. The concert was relocated to the more intimate, smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena due to insufficient ticket sales for the large arena. The current AEW world champion and former WWE Superstar CM Punk did not miss an occasion to mock WWE for its humiliating shift to a smaller stadium. As of this writing, the event's new venue is almost sold out.
With John Cena's comeback with an average audience of 1.951 million, WWE Raw viewership stayed strong. SmackDown's telecast last week attracted 2.231 million viewers, an enormous increase from the week before.

Liv Morgan Wins Women's MITB
There were still a number of crowd-pleasing risks despite the fact that the ratio of hyped places to real high points was strongly skewed in their favor.
It appeared that Liv Morgan was consistently sabotaging Becky Lynch. Tonight maybe her night because she won last night.
Raquel Rodriguez was undoubtedly in the coveted huge position, where the entire field worked against her because of her stature.
Liv Morgan won her first Money in the Bank briefcase and, perhaps, her first title using Christian's renowned balancing performance from WrestleMania 25. If Becky Lynch had won, MITB would have seemed to be a prop in a Becky Lynch plot. Liv winning makes it look like a significant professional achievement, and thus a larger deal.

Bobby Lashley def. Theory
It seemed like Theory was mocking John Cena's Attitude Adjustment each time he teased the A-Town Down.
There was excellent storytelling and even stronger callbacks in this classic babyface vs. heel bout. Lashley's victory caught everyone off guard, especially given how much WWE is "cooking up" Theory for Cena.
Bianca Belair def. Carmella
As Carmella's supporter, Corey Graves was outstanding throughout the whole match.
Following Bianca Belair's victory, Carmella began to beat her, which caused a buzz in the audience as spectators anticipated Liv Morgan may take advantage. She didn't since Belair swiftly bounced back. In any case, it wouldn't have been very babyface to profit off a fallen Belair.
Surprisingly, considering the post-match storyline, Belair's rivalry with Carmella is likely to continue.
The Usos def. The Street Profits
The announcers kept praising Montez Ford's outstanding improvements. Perhaps there won't be any more Street Profits.
There were cries of "this is fantastic" and "fight forever," and toward the conclusion, there was also a standing ovation. This contest was amazing.
Montez Ford was trapped but had his shoulder up. I won't have any issues if there is a rematch.
This match was definitely deserving of consideration as the best tag team match of the year. It was superior to any tag team bout from the Forbidden Door with a weak plot.
Rousey def. Natalya; Liv Morgan Cashes In
This was a pretty wonderful tale of apprentice vs master, even if Ronda Rousey and Natalya had trouble winning back the audience following a banger of a tag team fight. At every stage of their conflict, including this bout, Natalya absolutely shone.
As babyface as it could be without being announced beforehand, like John Cena or RVD, Liv Morgan's cash-in was. Ronda Rousey even raised her hand in a MITB first. For Liv, this was a well-earned moment of happiness.

Theory Wins Men's MITB
Moments after teasing Bray Wyatt, Adam Pearce really teased the eighth contestant before revealing Theory.
In this match, Omos occupied the coveted Raquel Rodriguez position. Please check the summary of the women's MITB above.
I feared that Riddle's powerful RKO from the top of the ladder was an attempt to give him a chance to shine because he wasn't succeeding.
The fact that Theory won Money in the Bank after losing the US Championship keeps him relevant before the upcoming matchup with John Cena. Regardless of how anybody thinks about Theory, the WWE needs new stars, and at least they're making an effort with a young person.
After the event went off the air, Happy Corbin attacked Pat McAfee. See you at SummerSlam!
