On March 4, Jon Jones returns to the Octagon after three years away with the clear goal of winning the vacant heavyweight title. After ten years of waiting, "Bones" made the long-awaited switch to the 265 lbs category. Furthermore, a victory over Ciryl Gane on Saturday night may solidify his status as the promotion's all-time greatest performer. The Rochester native, nevertheless, was the target of some satire from Colby Covington, a fellow UFC fighter.
Particularly, "Chaos" has ridiculed the former UFC champion on several occasions. The native of Clovis had previously made fun of his ex-college roommate after that person disclosed their breakup with Jessie Moses. The American wrestler said Jones "knocked some sense into her" by taking advantage of the situation. In keeping with tradition, the 35-year-old forecast that the inhabitant of Albuquerque will fall prey to the French combatant.
