Daltonganj, March 9: Despite a communal conflagration on February 15 that resulted in the suspension of internet services for 4 days and the protracted promulgation of Section 144 of the CrPC since February 15, which was finally lifted on March 4, Palamu's Panki witnessed a peaceful Holi on Wednesday.
On Thursday, CO Panki Anchal Nirbhay Kumar informed Lagatar that Panki's celebration of Holi went ahead without any adverse incidents at all.
The participation of Muslims, albeit in a limited fashion, in the celebration of Holi, according to the government official, was the festival's high point. The two communities observed Holi in the proper manner.
SDO Sadar Rajesh Kumar Sah claimed that while he was at Panki on the day of Holi, he saw that everyone was kind and understanding.
