DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — The estimated $700 million Powerball jackpot was not claimed, thus it will increase to an estimated $800 million in the upcoming drawing. On October 26, 2022, the following numbers were drawn: 19, 36, 37, 46, and 56. The Powerball number was 24. Since August 3, no one has successfully matched all six numbers to win the Powerball jackpot, which has caused it to rise to the fifth-largest sum in American history. That is 36 draws in a row without a jackpot winner. This coming Saturday is the drawing. For winners who want to receive their money through an annuity, which is paid yearly over 29 years, the new jackpot figure of $800 million applies. However, the majority of winners actually choose the cash prize, which would be worth $383.7 million after taxes.
